| Tracy Murphree - Owner, I purchased The Sunny Side on September 9, 1994 and I believe in training and education. It is the key to success. I could not think of anything else I would rather do than to be in an industry that helps people feel good about themselves. So in March of 06' we decided to open another retail business. We had it on the internet for about 2 years and had decided it was time for Cookeville to experiance Saunas. So we opened THE SAUNA PLACE two doors down. I really hate being away but I am never too far. I am in the same building you know, come see me. When I'm not at work I enjoy photography and spending time with my family. I have two children, Kayla (which can be seen below) and Zachary and my wonderful husband, Brian. |
Kayla Colson - Smart Tan Associate
Kayla is Tracy's daughter, so she has pretty much grown up here at
the Sunny Side! As a Junior at Tennessee Tech, Kayla is currently
working on a degree in Biology. Once she graduates, she plans on
attending dental school and eventually becoming an orthodontist.
However, for the next year or two, she'll be working, waiting to greet
you with a smile and get your tan jump started. Kayla is smart tan
certified, so you can ask her any questions regarding tanning or
lotion.

Andrea Fleetwood- Nail Technician
Andrea has been a member of the Sunny Side team for a total of 10 years! She
started as a smart tan associate when she was but a freshman in highschool.
Since then, she has graduated three times, gaining not only her highschool
degree, but also a degree in history, a masters in education, and she is now
working on her doctorate!! Andrea is a full time 5th grade teacher as well as a
nail technician here at the Sunny Side. She is a loved member of the team and
we are so very proud of her!!

Brandi Pauley- Nail Technician, Hair Stylist
Brandi recently moved back to Cookeville from Fort Campbell, KY and
began working at the Sunny Side as a hair stylist and nail technician.
She also takes care of the tanning side occasionally, so she can
answer any questions about your skin as well! Brandi is also in school
to become a Nurse someday!

Katie Haney- Smart Tan Associate
Katie rejoined the Sunny Side team this past year, and we are
so glad she did! Katie recently graduated from Tennessee
Tech with a degree in early childhood education, and we hope
to hold onto her here for as long as we can! She is Smart Tan
certified and can help you with any of your lotion and or tanning
needs!
